I'm not sure if this will be attractive to anyone HERE or not, but just in case there's LOTS of interest, we are limiting it to the first 5 who respond.
We are looking for a SMALL group of "Sales Affiliates" or people who want to sell our services from their websites, and if you're interested, we're willing to set you up with free hosting for 1 year to do this. You should fit into one of the following categories to be elligible for this:
1. Web designer who wants to sell hosting to your clients;
2. Desire to be a web hosting reseller (this system requires much less effort, though);
3. You sell other "related" products on your website or through an email marketing program (i.e. newsletter, emailing list, etc... but beware... spamming wil not be tolerated);
4. You want to build a new website solely for this program;
5. Other...?
If you fit into any of the above categories, and/or if you already have ways to get messages out to lots of potential customers, then our new affiliate program could quite possibly bring you lots of money in commissions.
Hee's the scoop:
We are developing a killer affiliate program where we pay our affiliates each time they send new customers to us, on a pay-per-sale basis. It will be a two-tier affiliate program, so you'll also earn commissions on THEIR customers, if they in turn also become affiliates of ours. The commission levels are 15% tier 1, and 5% tier 2.
Once a customer signs up with us who has been referred by you, they are essentially your customer too, because any future monthly fees, upgrades or additional accounts that customer buys from us, you get a commission on that as well. Basically, send a customer to us, and you get commissions on any purchase that customer ever makes with us, EVER. That customer is basically yours! The commissions you make are 15% of each sale. That's pretty high for recurring commissions, and we may lower it in the future.... which is why this free-hosting offer is only being offered to a handfull of people starting off.
So how do we know when you send us a customer? We've got two methods for tracking this. First, we will have prepared for you a library of banners, buttons and text links, ALL coded with your unique *Affiliate ID*, so that when someone clicks on any of these links, they are immediately sent to our website with your Affiliate ID in tow. Your Affiliate ID is immediately grabbed from the URL and placed in a cookie on heir machine, so that even if they don't order anything on their first visit, we'll know where they originally came from if/when they ever come back. So even if the next time they visit our site they simply type in our www.crazyhostguy.com web address, that cookie still exists on their machine, and we grab it in our order form when they place an order.
The second method of tracking how people are coming to our website is more of a backup system, and is in place simply because about 8% of surfers have cookies turned off (so the above method won't work with them). In our order form will be a field where customers are asked to specify how they heard about us. Currently this field is just a text box, but when this affiliate program is rolled out (in the next few days), it will be a drop down menu. In this menu, the choices will be listed, and will include a *limited number* of our affiliates' names (or their website names... your choice). Over time, this will be limited to our top 5 grossing affiliates.... but for now since this program is new, we'll list the first each of the first 5 of you who take us up on this offer.
Our product offering (what YOU can sell)
The best part of this program, is that our hosting packages virtually sell themselves! We have a unique product offering whereby customers can easily expand their plans to include multiple accounts. Even with our $5.95/month plan, customers can pay a $5.00 setup fee and an extra $1.00/month to split that plan into two separate accounts. They can split that $5.95 plan inot 10 separate accounts if they wish! In fact we have several customers that have well over 50 accounts in their plans (these are typically web designers, or resellers of ours). Each time a customer adds accounts to their plans (unless they have the reseller plan which offers free unlimited accounts), you will earn a commission of 15% of that sale.
Our hosting accounts are priced from $1.95 to $49.95 per year, and we offer a 20% discount for those who choose to pay for a full year. Remember, our affiliates will get a 15% commission of every SALE... so if a customer opts to pay for the full year, you get 15% of that total sale. Here's a breakdown of our hosting plans, what percentage of our customers have each plan, and how many of them pay for the full year:

Mini ($1.95/mo) 37% (all of which pay annually)
Small ($5.95/mo) 29% (63% pay annually)
Medium ($9.95/mo) 9% (48% pay annually)
Large ($13.95/mo) 6% (42% pay annually)
X-Large ($19.95/mo) 5% (24% pay annually)
Reseller ($49.95/mo) 14% (16% pay annually)
More stats:
Our average customer has 5.3 accounts;
65% of our customers only have 1 account;
8% of our customers have >10 accounts;
5% of our customers have >25 accounts;
Our largest reseller has over 175 accounts.
Remember that any customer you send us that also becomes an affiliate, you will earn 5% of THOSE sales as well. And this 2nd tier is also good for the life of that customer. In other words, we are committing 20% of all future revenues generated from our affiliates (15% from top-level affiliates.... which is you). We do not rely on the cookie/referral system for future sales. That is, once you send us a customer ONCE, we internally log that new customer as having come from you, so you will always get commissions from them in the future.
When/How do you get paid?
Commissions will be payable once the new customers have been with us for 30 days (thus surpassing our 30-day moneyback guarantee), and monthly checks will start going out the following month. So if a referred customer signs up today (Dec 8), the commission becomes payable Jan 8. All commissions payable to you by the end of January, will be sent to you February 15. The check we send you on March 15 will include commissions from that first customer again, as he/she would have had to pay their monthly fees Jan 1 (if they were a monthly customer).
Reporting System
We will have an online reporting system where you can go to view your commissions earned, how many referrals you sent, etc. This system is under development, and will be ready shortly.
