I just installed RH 7.1 to a pc that has Intel CA810e motherboard.
The problem is I cannot get it to recognize the built-in network card on Intel CA810e motherboard.
Does anyone know where I can get the driver for it?
I thought it used the same driver as the Intel 10/100 Pro, or something like that.
Redhat 7.1 should support that network card natively. I think even 6.2 supports the NIC on that board. It's the newer 815 boards that you'll have problems with on anything 6.2 and earlier.

I am installing Windows to see if it detects it.
I guess I will have to put some time on it to track down where is the problem.
Most of the Intel boards either have a jumper on the motherboard with the option to disable the onboard NIC, or in the BIOS settings to disable the onboard NIC... I'd definately check there. If when the system has power and you're trying to plug into a switch or hub, if you don't get a link light, the NIC doesn't work, and you'll need to RMA the board if possible.

I have (2) Intel CA810e motherboards.
The settings on the two boards and the BIOS of the two boards are the same. One works, one doesn't. I guess one NIC is defective.
