i search these forums for opinions on these two hosts, but i can't find any comments or reviews.

there are the best two hosts i have found with good $20/mo plans.

2 www.digisurge.com

which do you find more trustworthy?

I don't know the answer to that. Just and idea, but you might want to run some traceroutes to the guys from traceroute.org and compare their networks. Also you might want to compare them to other providers of virtual hosting.

i don't know of any better virutal hosts... any recomendations would be nice.

the traceroute idea is good though. i dont' know why i haven't tries that yet!
