Hi all

It's long been recommended to us to split up our services into seperate sites so we have now split off the hosting element into http://www.hosting-online.co.uk - I'd appreciate any comments or feedback you can all provide.

If any of you have particularly great ideas for improvement or promotion, email me. I'd be happy to offer you a year of free hosting (up to 500MB dependant on how good an idea) by way of a thank you.

I really like it, but the hosting-online logo at the top left, is a bit plain and ugly. Get a logo, and I can hook you up with one for 5 - 10 bucks :).

Also banner ads on a hosting page...

Also, just looked at it via my netzero connection to test load time (I'm spoiled by cable) It took about 46 seconds to load :( You have a TON of images, might be better if you could cut down on them some, or optimize the size.

Thanks for those initial comments. The banner ad on the home page is for another site we own and it's for domain names which is obviously related to the hosting business. And don't you agree it's all very festive and cheery.

I have mentioned your comments on the logo to my designer. What don't you like about the logo?

The banner ads detract on the overall 'quality' of the site - I would suggest replacing them with a text link at the bottom of the page.

The logo seems out of place - it does not intergrate with the rest of the page.

Yes, I mean the dotted squares with the blue circle going round.

I like the menu, and the way the different hosting packages are split in the middle....

The logo is quite plain, maybe have the 4 dots beside it. Also the drop shadow makes it look a little fuzzy.

Also IMO, the logo text should be the biggest text found on the page. The prices and "Where reliability meets speed" is bigger than the logo text.

Shouldn't our mission and our low prices stand out more than 'look at our brand name'!

Incidentally, shouldn't our domain name mean the search engines are gonna love us??? Keyword wise.

How would they remember the name of your site to come back if it doesn't stick in their mind and make a great first impression?
