I am currently with two different reselling providers, both of whom have different offerings that I need due to customer requirements. My issue with my main reseller acct is that since they were taken over, they hardly respond to troubles, and I have had multiple troubles in the past two months.

Anyway, I would like to establish a 3000MB to 5000MB Reseller Acct. I would need Windows and UNIX servers. I have a customer running ASP.

Also, I have a customer using FrontPage. One host currently support FrontPage extensions, however using their H-Sphere interface do not allow my client to set file permissions for protected directories in such.

So, basically, I need to support FP and allow the client to edit file directory permissions, like we do in so many sites that have a "Members Section," I also need to support ASP with the option to set my own Mail Exchange.

If someone could provide some recommended hosts that I could search, please contact me via e-mail at support@cjmwebdesigns.biz or reply to this post.

I would recomend using the hostquote feature which allows you to specify what you are looking specially in the comments boxs and once you have some responses from hosting providers who provide you with quotes....then you can run searches on these hosting providers about reviews right here in WHT.....Since you already kindof know what plan features fit you the best HostQuote Link on the top of this page is a good way to goo.....you can also check the offers in the Advertising section of this Forum....

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/request.php is the link for HostQuote

Good Luck

Moved to the Reseller Forum. You could also look through the Share & Reseller Hosting offers. If you see an offer you like search here for reviews.

slingshot, if you have an H-Sphere host they should be able to do password protected directories on the system for you, you would probley just need to ask them. Its not to hard to do. We use H-Sphere and do it so I am sure any one can. On unix you should be able to use .htaccess for password protected directories and SSH or webshell to edit file permissions. File permissions on windows you would also need to ask any h-sphere host as well.

I don't know of any windows CP that lets you do these 2 things right now, but I do know h-sphere has at least the password protected directories in the works. :)

Thanks. I have heard that my host will set it up for me, but to add users and such, my client using FP and would like to do it from there. I do not believe he wishes to open tickets with me to add users. So, I put him on another host, and that is where I get two hosts from! Lucky me!
