Has anyone had positive experiences or know of any reliable offshore hosting solutions for an IBC (International Business Company) based in the Caribbean or Latin America?

I've been scoping out the market but it's really hard to tell who's good and who's bad from just the sites alone. Is there a leader in the space? Someone who specializes in this area.

Any help is appreciated.

why in particular do you require offshore hosting? Might help people form a better recommendation.

Mostly for digital asset protection. The laws in our country are fairly strict in regards to digital assets and tend to not put the interests of the asset owners above all other claimants.

The ability to shelter digital assets if you incorporate in a more accomodating jurisdiction is a great benefit of doing the business we do.

Cable and Wireless has a facility in the Dominican Republic... should be good for what you want to do.

rotherh@de.cw.net or smorhoff@de.cw.net

ask either of them about it

depending on the nature of the assets and the nature of the the threats they must be protected against, havenco.com is likely to be your best bet. the facility is ran by the government, however minisclue that government might be =]

with that said, they depend on connectivity to countries that do have laws, so things like kiddie porn and spam are out.

Instead of paying 5 or 10 times more to companies like hostarica, better buy a server in China. Or in Switzerland.

Paul,

I just sat and worked my way through the http://www.sealandgov.com/ website.

How interesting... very random!
