Ok, here is another customized special just for WHT viewers. This special is not listed on our website like most other customized plans that I make up when I'm in a good mood :D
I am offering a refugee special for people who are not satisified with the service and support they are receiving currently. This offer is NOT for any new domains. The domain must be currently in use with an active webpage. I have two offerings; one for 2 months free and one for 3 months free. And this does NOT involve paying a year in advance.
First refugee special:
If you are currently paying $6/month or more you will receive 2 months free of 'whatever your current hosting plan is'. That's right, I will setup whatever bandwidth and space you are getting now for the same price (after the 2 months free). (details on the server you will be offered below.)
Second refugee special:
If you are currently paying $5/month or LESS you will receive 3 (THREE) months free of 'whatever your current hosting plan is'. Again, I will setup the same bandwidth and space limits you have now at the same price (after your 3 months free). (details on the server you will be offered below.)
Now, there are some guidelines I will be following with this. First of all, there is no obligation to continue hosting with this offer. If you choose to receive the free hosting then leave after your time is up, then fine.. no problem. But have the respect of your current host IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THEM to not leave just to save a few bucks then go back. If you are happy with your current service level then please continue supporting the business you are with.
Second, I must have verifiable proof of the current plan you are paying for as regards to space and bandwidth... either by an invoice or by proof on a company's site that the plan you are requesting is legitimate. If I have any cause to think a plan has been altered as a way to cheat this offer I will reject it (and no I'm not putting that loophole in there to reject all offers) but I'm not going to accept someone is paying $5/month for 50 gigs of bandwidth and 1 gig of space or something else as ridiculous.
The main reason I'm offering this is my hosting company has been in business for TWO years. That is a life time compared to a lot of companies that you'll find that do this as a hobby from their bedroom and think making a couple of bucks per customer is easy money. Just think, if you're getting less than expected service now, what kind of service will you get when that same company has 200, 300 or more customers and they are only making a couple of dollars per account? They can't afford to upgrade servers, hire support people and provide services that you will need as your site grows. Now you're saying 'well, that's what you're doing by offering this special'. No, this will be for a limited time... let's see... one week 'till Friday the 14th of this month. I can handle several dozens of lower priced accounts (up to a point) because of being in business so long 90% of all my customers are two years with us, so they are pretty much self sustaining now. And I make more profit on 10 customers than a lot of these 'low ball, I don't care what happens a year from now because I got a cheap server and gonna make a lot of quick money' hosts do with 100 accounts. No, I'm not overcharging. Look at my website and see the average professional plan. I make enough profit to allow my business to GROW; to hire people, to add more servers, etc. I'm not rich and my company is not huge but I make a living and will likely be around for 2 MORE years and longer.
So again, don't disrepect a respectible host just for a few bucks of free hosting. But if you want reasonable replies to support requests and extremely high uptime averages then email me for assistance. And again, this is not for any new domains. So if you are moving a domain(s) you will not be eligible to add more domains that are NOT currently in use at the same plans that you are setting up with us. I will give you a good deal on new accounts but I'm not going to undermine my systems beyond this limited time offer.
Now for info on the servers. I run servers in 3 different locations, Burst.net (with Cpanel), Raq4i's with Rackshack and PIII linux boxes with Rackshack, and also our own freebsd machines on our own T1 line (no new accounts are being accepted on the freebsd machines as they are for high profile clients and we have capped the amount of accounts on each one). I may not be able to match every single feature such as a particular control panel, all I am offering is the same space and bandwidth. Of course all my servers have what I consider the basics; perl, cgi-bin, FP 2000 extensions (2002 on some), php4, mysql, webmail, myphpadmin, and more. So the default refugee accounts will be on a Raq4 w/ 512 megs RAM. If you want to be on a Cpanel or Plesk server then each account will be $3 more over whatever you're paying now (and that will be due immediately and not included during the free period).
Also, one other stipulation, your site must have been at it's current location or have had continuous hosting for at least 60 days. This is not for someone to signup for a $3 account somewhere then 3 days later signup for 3 months free hosting.
So, this may be all confusing after seeing how much I have typed but hopefully you can get the basic info and see what I'm trying to offer. But email me or post questions here and I will answer them the best I can.
