matrixwebhosting.com or matrixwebhosting.net? We got our .net before they started using the .com for anything, so just want to clear that up. If its for us also try matrixreseller we stoped using the matrix webhosting for the most part because of the .com .net issue.. :)

Seems to be the .net. ZION plan will just ruin any planet. :-)

Only use them if you like living through hell.

I had to sic 2 attorney generals on them, and took a beating from "Vortech" here on the forums, but as I suggested all along, I was vindicated when they had to refund my money.

Search on this site and you'll see horror story after horror story about them

Go almost anyplace else.

jaikin, you got a FULL refund. You should not have gotten one because you did not follow our TOS, but I was nice and went ahead and refunded you. Be happy.

And 2 attorney generals never contacted us.

I'm not sure about matrixreseller.com. I came across this interesting site (was actually posted at our forum) - www.vortechhostingsucks.org

But then again, you should only believe 1/2 of what you see :)

Yea that site is the biggest joke.. LoL Funny thing is I had someone sign up because they went to that site then came to us. Said the site looked like it was fully of crap and well they are still a customer almost 3 months latter. Thats my main reason I have not taken any legal action on them. I find it funny. Plus the only person that posted there is the owner and his buddy more less.

Vortech lies.

I have the documentation from the BBB, the Indiana Attorney General and the FLorida Attorney General.

It must just be coincidence that 1 day after I received that, I got a refund, although up until that point, all I got was abuse and threats.

You are a liar, and WHT must be in your pocket, since I've just received a warning from them and I notice that most of the threads that told potential customers how you do business have been removed.

What did you do, buy a big ad package.

You are a liar. I can prove what I say.

jaikin simple question, were you refunded? I am not going to fight with you? Be happy, you were refunded even when you did not follow our TOS.

Also no one is lieing here. I said the Indiana Attorney General and the FLorida Attorney General never contacted us. The BBB did and we replied to that, like we should. WHT is not the BBB and not the place to complain because we did not refund you. Once we got an office complaint we acted as we should have and simple refunded you even though you did not follow our TOS. Its really that simple jaikin.

Also I don't have WHT in my pocket thats for sure, the only AD's I have here is the free ones right now. I don't don't know how you come up with these things, but it sure is funny to read.. LoL

Thanks for bumping this post, its always good to clear up you're miss interpretations and get the free exposure. :)

Vortech and jaikin - you guys need to stop hijacking any MatrixReseller thread that opens up here. I realize that jaikin had bad service and wants to tell the world and I realize Vortech is just defending his company.

But come on guys its the same stuff reposted and reposted over and over again. I am pretty sure most people get the point. No need to keep at it. We all get it, but maybe some of us still want to hear other people's opinions of the service.

I really want to hear from other people about MatrixReseller. But every thread turns into a fight between you two, and its getting old. jaikin - you got your refund - post your two cents and move on. I personally don't want to see WHT turn into a VortechSucks or a AnyWebHostSucks.whatever . If I wanted that, that's where I would go. I come to WHT to read both sides of the coin presented in a professional manner, so I can get feedback on any decisions I make for hosting for my company.

My two cents

Tony,

I respectfully disagree.

The threads I chime in on are when someone asks about Vortech experiences. You'll notice that vels ASKED for user experiences to start this thread.

I will tell them what happened to me as that is the point of this forum and a direct response to a direct question.

Vortech's record of intimidation, lies, extortion, outright thievery and bad manners is clear.

The manner in which Vortech responds to these posts should be clear warning to anyone considering doing business with them. I consider warning others about to be sucked in my civic duty and although it wounds me that I seem to be irritating you, I will continue to do so whenever someone asks about customer experiences with Vortech/MatrixReseller.

Best Regards,

John

jaikin, i have no problem with you posting your opinion of the service, what gets me is the constant bickering. All these threads turn into an argument between you and Vortech and that is not very productive for what we are looking for.

I would be a fool to not believe that you think their service sucks - flat out. You made your point, no need to continue on about the AGs or everything else that happened, its irrelevent to me. You made your point, thank you. Your view is something I will consider when I make a decision as will everyone else who is trying to make a reseller decision here.

All I am trying to do is find out about their service from as many different people as possible.

I am not taking a side here, I am just saying that you made your point, and some things don't need to be aired publicly. Ultimately you got your money back. So I don't see the need to have this vendetta against Vortech in every single thread.

For me, your first post said it all. Every other post just came off as someone who is out to damage Vortech's reputation and business any way they can. This may or may not be the case, but there are several anti-Vortech sites out there where you can do this kind of stuff. No disrespect to anyone, but with every new Vortech thread, we can't get any other opinions once you two start going at it. It is a little frustrating for me - trying to find a good H-Sphere reseller.

....

You have been warned for violating forum rules. I suggest you read them in detail again: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/misc.php?s=&action=forum-rules

Moderators are separate from the advertisements here. There's a clear separation of duty, and we have warn / penalised advertisers alike for violating forum rules. If you violate a forum rule, we will take action. It's a simple equation.

Exactly. Just one minor note: it's not that they "two start going at it" - Vortech just replies. I'm not defending him (never had any contact with him), but it's understandable that he should protect his business. Jaikin, I don't think you're going to achieve your goal if you discredit yourself by going on a witch-hunt.

I have no hosting experience with matrixresellers. I have heard alot of good thing about them at WHT, then I sent them an email with some pre-sales questions for 6 weeks ago, still got no answer.

I have sent them several reminders after that, still waiting for a reply. Does not seem that they care about getting new clients ... not a very good sign if you ask me .. :-)

old_man, if you don't mind could you PM me your email address. All of the sales tickets have are answered. Not sure if spamcop or spamhaus may be blocking you as we use them to help cut down spam on our ticket system that sales and support tickets go to.

Sorry about the issue and would like to help find out what the issue may be.

Thanks

Matrixreseller is just about as good as it gets for what they offer. Can they improve, absolutely, but we all can improve.

I have now received answers to all my questions, thank you!

Even it took almost two months to get an answer (becuase of a stupid filter), I'm happy with the answers, so I will probably sign up right after the summer.

thanx again.
