I did a lookup on them at www.mysimon.com (i think) last night and the cheapest I saw was like 268 or 288... I wouldn't pay more than 299, but there were still some listed there for 3+, 4+ and 5+ !!

Actually, Sony keeps the price high in the US and it may become a real problem, considering the new contenders...

Too bad ps2 is 2x as cheap and has better games :) and from what ive seen better graphics

What a freakin' rippoff! I mean seriously, after you get the console you still have to buy games don't you? At $49 a pop I'd say "NO THANKS!". I mean, the best games can be found for the PC platform. Ever try playing Half Life on PS2? Lame controls, blurry tv, yuk!

Xbox should lower their price to $200 then I might consider buying one. It's just a stripped-down PC with a good graphics card anyways. Seen what you could get with $500 at a computer show these days? :eek2:

Now, if you add shipping to the $US, plus neo it, it would come to around US$250.

That how much you would get them for in the US (without neo obviously). Plus there is also one more thing - what do I get out of this? lol.

Woah! $299 that bites. Back here they're MUCH cheaper (with modchip for playing imports :D)

I do think there will be a massive price drop if they wanna compete with GameCube (love it :)) and XBOX (will get it)
