Hi, how would i go about getting awstats to update, since it only seems to update once per day at an ungodly time :)
Is there any command/script to do it?
Thanks, Philip

What control panel are you using?

if you use Cpanel Login to your server via SSH & Type: /scripts/runlogsnow

Yes its cpanel, but unfortunatly its not on my server, so /scripts/runlogs now doesn't work(jailshell).

If the server administrator disabled awstats updates from cpanel/stat package for cpanel users you won't be able to do it then. WHM on a root level has an option for disallowing that.
You can ask your server admin for help though to do it for you.

You have the option of
1. Running /scripts/runweblogs (not runlogs etc) But since you don't own the server, this is out of your hands.
2. If your server owner enables the option that allows the users to update AWStats on their own, you will have access to a link that says that when you view your stats. But I am not sure many will do it. I have the experience where users update logs at peak hours, and these are sites that are a few GB in size. Obviously the results isn't pretty.

That is precisely the reason why we disable the ability on our shared hosting servers.
