Thank you.

These forums have been a bit more enjoyable largely due to your efforts. The moving of discussions to the appropriate forum, the limitation of advertising and excessive signatures, and other things have been noticed. Your efforts shouldn't be a thankless task, and they aren't. They have been noticed and are much appreciated.

You're welcome Duster.

I'd also like to thank the other mods (Chicken, Mike, Kunal and Dana) for backing each other up and proving to be of valuable assistance. You may not see the others as constantly as Chicken or myself, but rest assured that they're working quietly in the background ensuring all runs smoothly.

If you have any suggestions or questions for the forum feel free to give us a yell.

I understand. Between different access times, time zones, etc., some of you get up with the chickens and take care of the tasks at hand before the others arise. hee hee hee :wavey:

When I kiss (_!_), it's literally, not figuratively, and it's most pleasureable , not demeaning. I have never played the role of the sycophant.

[serious face on]
Most people are more than 3 times as likely to criticize than to praise. On car purchases and other things, if we're happy, we'll tell 3 friends (on the average). If we're unhappy, we'll tell 10. Of course, that was before the Internet became mainstream. Now we can tell the world.

I like to add a bit of balance to those stats. Whether it's a waiter that has made a dining experince more enjoyable (and I let the manager know, not just the waiter), someone who has been very helpful and honest, or any effort that rises about the mediocrity that is so prevalent, I take the time to let people know that they are appreciated.

Just as one bad experience can put people in a bad mood, a kind word and thanks can put a smile on their face and a bounce in their walk. It might be so simple a thing as telling someone they look really good, even stunningly beautiful (if you mean it, of course), and to do it unselfishly. I've done that even with married women I've worked with (and I won't ever fish in anyone else's pond), and single ones I had no intention of dating.

In a world where may people are ready to rain on your parade, be rude and indifferent, I like to represent the opposition and be a ray of sunshine. It spreads rapidly.
[serious face off]

I absolutely agree with Duster. You guys are great. Being moderators are not easy, and you all are very helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. What a great place for me to learn.

I've been in "Solving Love Problem" Vietnamese website, they have about 5000 members but only 2 moderators, one is "dead"... People go there, saying bad words, cursing to each other all the time, nobody cares to delete. It's so sad when I compare our site vs you guys' site. Anyway, best wishes to you all :). Keep up the good work.
