OK,
I am looking for a new server, same provider but more powerful server.
Should I get a 3.0 P4 or a AMD 64 3000+ - What would be better for hosting Ensim Pro 4.0 and Fedora? And what types of upgrades should it have?

Are you going to have a 64 bit version of linux installed?
From what i heard opeterons still outperform p4's in 32 bit mode. I would pick cpanel over ensim though.
I would get the P4 3.0 if it is the newer chip(not the P4 3.06GHz).

Rocketcolo.net(www.rocketcolo.net) - They are the best. No cPanel since I don't like cPanel - Ensim Pro is what I specialize in. Most likely I will have the Fedora Core 1 on it. Other comments?

id go with cpanel since they have got/getting 64bit support.

Hey Max, go with the p4 and get fedora on it. Id upgrade the fedora to core 2 after you get it though.

I would go with the 64 but wait another month for 939 chipset.
More upgrade room and performance.

64bit all the way, the machine will scream.

Only if you are using the os in 64bit mode, otherwise you dont see much improvement

Check your ratings. Even out of 64 the AMD 64's outperform the P4's.

I don't use any of the 'commercial' control panels, so perhaps that would be why, but that aside, why wouldn't you use 64bit mode?
