Yeah, I know. I just had a name at Ev1 I wanted to use for email so got a mx record at zoneedit. I'll look at the other free dns places.

Bashar 06-07-2004, 02:42 AM yeah working now, seems it was down earlier :)
Postmaster 06-07-2004, 07:13 AM I can comfirm they were down too.......
bdutton 06-07-2004, 12:20 PM I can't reach zonedit.com anymore. Has anyone heard about this service going down?
EDIT: OOPS.... Guess I should read the forum before posting.
bdutton 06-07-2004, 12:24 PM Well... I usually connect as zonedit dot com and not zoneEdit dot com. Seems they dropped or lost the zonedit dot com domain.
fewcoin 06-07-2004, 01:23 PM Maybe zoneedit was working all along.
I typed in: www.zoneedit.com and it came up fine.
Before, I just typed in: zoneedit.com and nothing.

dmaven 06-07-2004, 03:44 PM They seem to be having technical issues this week. maybe a DDOS attack
Bashar 06-07-2004, 03:47 PM it wasn't working earlier, but now they are back in biz.
seems something was wrong or they were under ddos attack or so.
raqsoft 06-07-2004, 03:47 PM no problems for me connecting to www.zoneedit.com from europe
bdutton 06-07-2004, 05:48 PM Odd.
When I try to access the www dot zoneedit dot com website I get a timeout but my Macintosh Dynamic DNS software was just able to connect in and update with the current ip address.
Bashar 06-07-2004, 07:09 PM its only their webserver down, not other services.
