Lately i have extracted a font package including 1000+ fonts. But after that my programs like Flash MX, Photoshop etc. cant define any fonts. The give errors "no default system font can be found" but the fonts can be used all by Microsoft Word. What can the problem be? Messing with windows/fonts directory is a hard job also, it always falls to non-responding when i try to move the new ones i extracted back again.

It's kinda tough to decide which you want when you have 6,000 + fonts like me.

How did you install the fonts? - Did you just drop them in the Windows/Fonts directory?

You may have corrupted some of the system's font..

have you tried Adobe Type Manager. might be useful for you

well, maybe it is better to try to reinstall your Photoshop. Also when you install fonts try to use add fonts and not just drop them in windows folder
