All I really see is $35 to $50 a year to renew a .ca domain - the odd one that is at $25 has a web page that looks like personal pages that are up on geocities or something...

Anyone with recommendations? I'm with easyhosting.com for 2 of my domains and I want to leave ASAP.. Thanks.

I put this list (http://shopping.bluemango.ca/Domain_Registrars/) together a year ago...I don't know how much of it is still valid. But try clicking around to check a few of the lower-cost registrars.

I've used Domain.ca to register several domains, and I was pleased with the service.

We use EasyDNS.ca (http://www.easydns.ca) for our .ca domain names.

They charge $39 + GST (CDN) [a little pricey] but we are very happy with them. We have had to call them a few time on different matters and we got though within a minute and got the situations resolved.

I registered my domain through domains.ca (DomainsAtCost.ca) its $25 a year if your pay for 1 year, and it drops if you pay for more than 1 year up to 10 years for $20 per year. Thats in Canadian funds too!
