View Full Version : That's right... It's BillAdmin!

Greetings to all!

I'm delighted to announce that we finally have a beta version of our BillAdmin 2.0 ready.

Basically, it allows dedicated server customers to manage all of their customers from an easy-to-use interface. As the name implies, it also has a fully featured billing system which integrates directly into your merchant payment gateway.

We are not yet providing the system to our customers, simply because we have more features to add and more testing to do before we believe that it is ready for commercial use.

What we're really looking for is any feedback you may have on the new release. You can check it out for yourself at:

http://sample:sample@billadmin.site5.com/

NOTE: This is in no way a representation of what the final version will be like (we will add in many more options). However, you can get a good idea of what the software is all about.

Thanks for your help!

If only you'd consider selling the script. I need something like this :(

Chicken,

That is something that we had considered. However, the logistics of it would be quite challenging. It currently integrates with our NetAdmin control panel, as well as other parts of our service. Nonetheless, we will definitely keep your request in mind.

Although, some of the features may not work with non-Site5 servers...

By the time this version is complete, it will support real-time package changing from right in the program. It will also include support for CyberCash (for all you Alabanza folks).

It's not just a billing script, it is a complete customer management system that spans multiple servers/databases, and therefore can not simply be installed on just any machine.

Keep the suggestions coming!

Chicken,

Just so you know (hopefully this is okay since it's in the advertising/offers forum :) ) QWK.Net has something like this in development that will be for sale early next year. It's an integrated control panel / account management / automatic billing system designed to run the whole operation. It's overkill for somebody just renting a dedicated server or two, but for a larger operation, I can see it being a lifesaver. (I know it has been for us - we're running from it.)

Carlos,

It is only available to direct customers at the moment. We may decide to license it to other VDI customers in the future, but that's a long way off.

However, if your server is already at VDI, then we can install NetAdmin on it within a matter of seconds. Your current settings will all carry over (it works hand-in-hand with cpanel).

You probably mentioned it, and are going to tell me to search for it myself, but if you didn't, or I'm too lazy, would you list a quick dribble of what the netadmin upgrade (if you call it an upgrade?) features are (above the vdi panel). Really if you don't have a copy&paste handy don't bother :)

Chicken,

You can see me ranting and raving about it here:

Feel free to ask if you have any unanswered questions.

Matt .. are you offering NetAdmin for sale ? ;-)

if you are let me know, I would be interested in getting the code (I don't care about the Gfx, I just finished my own version of it .. called WebCenter), but I would love to get the code :)

Hmm...

Have you considered asking M$ for the source code to Windows?

:D

actually ...

Hehe, I refrase my question, would you consider licensing the entire package ? (netadmin + billing) I would just change the Gfx to suit my taste :)

PS - Microsoft sucks .. Linux rulez .. and it comes with the code too ;)
