What exactly does CPanel/WHM 9.2 do when a subdomain is added? Should it add a CNAME record to the zone file...create a new zone file? I think mine is adding stuff to httpd.conf, but that's it...

It should add the CNAME, and change httpd.conf.

Hmm, it is not editing the zone file... wonder what the problem is. I don't know where to start troubleshooting this.

Ok, so I've narrowed the problem down to CPanel/WHM. It is not adding the CNAME entries to the zone file.

Anyone know why this might be? I can do it manually but I know it *can* work correctly... this is a new server running Redhat, btw.
