Our small hosting company is looking to expand our client base by opening up reseller channels. However, we don't understand what exactly it is a reseller is looking for. Any input on this topic would be very much appreciated. The points we're wandering about are;

- What is the best type of reseller program?
Should we simply setup a referral program that gives recurring discounts as well as setup commissions?

- What if a reseller wants client creation? What is the best way to go about this?
We have thought about setting up special reseller accounts and then allowing the resources to be re-sold or establishing pre-set discounted rates.

And last but not least, what control panels are capable of providing good reseller management besides Cpanel?

We can charge a small monthly fee for a lot of resources and sell them as reseller plans and give everyone a custom-branded control panel.
