10 megabit for 178 dollars a month? what type of Bandwidth is that on? is it bgp bandwidth or threw strictly cogent or somthing?

Do you offer dual opteron setups? Is Red Hat Enterprise a OS option?
Can i have some ips to ping/test?

Oh and what is the turn around time on new server installs?

Jump on it while you can, it probably wont last too long. Right now we are all out of dual opterons, if you would like email me phil@ezzi.net and I can let you know when we have one available.

Our network is setup with BGP and we are making some changes to it actually, as some bandwidth prodivers we have been unhappy with and have turned them off. I think the network admins are going to be cutting down the network to UUNET, NAC and Global Crossing over the next month.

We would never run Cogent.

What kind of ddos protection is it??? Also the page says
"If your server does get compromised, by purchasing this service, your server will not only stay up and running while we allow you to fix the problem, we will also waive the $150 fine for attacking/flooding the network."

So this is protecting OUTBOUND ddos generating FROM server??? What about incoming DDOS??

Looks like if your server is hit by an incoming DDoS, you will be fined $150.

How much for Dual 200GB Hard Drives and also are your servers placed on a 100Mbps uplink port? What is the setup time after payment is approved? I tried calling your toll free number but couldn't get through from Canada and as well as nobody is on the live chat.

You can read more about the dos and firewall protections here http://www.ezzi.net/home/press/index.cfm?do=Story&newsID=6

The protection isnt 100% guarenteed but we do stop 99% of them with the ability to keep the server up while you can fix the problem.

But if the attack to or from the server is too much then we will have to take it down, if it is effecting other servers. It stops both inbound and outbound.

For instance we have had people stay up with the SQL Slammer while they fixed the issue.

If you have the protection for $10/mo then you wont be fined. But if you do not have the protection then you can either pay the fine or buy the protection, your choice.

Even though attacks hurt more than anything and most attacks occur because of people breaking the TOS we do try to be as fair as possible.

But we did go out and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a complete top of the line firewall solution to protect the network and what we are asking in return isnt much.

We do not have 200GB HDs at this time, if you want to send me an email phil@ezzi.net with the exact specs that you are looking for I can get you a price.

Every server is on a 100Mb uplink port.

Setup time is usually 24 hours

Toll Free number doesnt work from Canada I dont think, Ive been waiting for them to get that working

What time did you try the live chat?

Never used or read up on Flood Guard so I am not sure if it is the same. We use Netscreen's product, you can read more on it here http://www.ezzi.net/home/press/index.cfm?do=Story&newsID=6

We use Cisco switches across the board, all 100Mb ports. The data transfer is 1,200GB total, either way... didnt know other companies actually limted you one way or the other , thats weird.

Ezzi,

The website says:
MCI/UUNET (INSTALLATION IN PROGRESS)
Internap (INSTALLATION IN PROGRESS)
Level 3 (Working on contracts now)
Sprint (Working on contracts now)

But you just said that the network will be MCI/UUNET, NAC, and Global Crossing. Does this mean that contracts fell through with Level 3 and Sprint, and that Internap is going to halt their installation?

Contracts were all set, what happen with InterNAP is they cannot get us bandwidth in 60 Hudson for the pricing we need it at because of the extra loop cost since they arent built out there, Level 3 can only give us optical and we do not take optical handoffs, and Sprint said they were coming into 60 Hudson but they are now saying they arent building out.
