My business already offers Linux and Windows shared hosting for reasonable costs.

What do you think about jamming a plan full of features, such as:

a dedicated IP
a secure cerificate
any other goodies that are inexpensive for me

I would label this "business hosting" and probablly sell it for $10.00 a month for 100 mbs space and 1 gig transfer.

Any suggestions? Would you buy this?

I'm against making things too easy for people. If they don't have the money or the knowledge to figure out what they need to run a business and handle it on their own, I wouldn't want them on the net selling me stuff.

I would advise against offering "Business Hosting" services for the same price as your average regular hosting service. When you devalue services that are generally more expensive in the real world, it can cause a lot of problems.

Why doesnt the cable/dsl providers charge a business/office the same price for the same speed dsl line? Because the business have more money, and can pay more.

No, my shared equivilent without dedicated IP or cert is only $3.75 a month, so I am charging considerably more for business hosting.

It sounds like a fair plan, you can almost get a reseller account with dedicated IPs and much more space/bandwidth at that price.
A secure cert won't come cheap unless you're talking about a shared cert for the server?

I was thinking about charging a $30 dollar setup fee to cover part of the cert, and the cert would just be a $50 geotrust.

I have not seen a reseller plan with dedicated IP's for less than $50.00 a month, could you please list any that are under $20?

I think you'll have to do a bit more support or at least install everything for them upon signup. In the end the time you must put in increases by offering bundles like these.

What do you mean by installing everything?

Of course the cert would be installed!

Install everything like shopping carts, certificates, any other addons that you wish to include.

Business Hosting for 10$, well sounds cheap to me, if people get all that, the real test would be the reliability and support that the host would offer if i were to go in for that much. After all you get what you pay for, this might be true sometimes and false sometimes.
