I was curious if anyone uses the LG VX6000 cell phone with verizon wireless. I am looking for reviews and such.

I have it with Verizon service and love it. No problems and full of features.

My cousin has that phone, and she absolutely loves it. No problems with it at all :)

I've had mine since September and love it. No problems, great reception, great volume. The camera is nice to have in a pinch.

Only thing I have heard is that the LCD can suddenly die and you're left in the dark with quite a hefty bill... Most of the protection plans don't cover an LCD failure either :|

I have the phone as well and I've yet to have a problem. Very easy to use as well.

A phone that has no sim card equals Junk. Its so much easier if you buy a phone that does use sim cards. (no transfering phone numbers and all that other stuff) I've used this phone, and it was alright, but still no sim cards equals junk.

I agree.. but hey.. Verizon's network isnt GSM.. Equals no SIM Cards.. but their network's the best.. thats the tradeoff..

I've had it for about 2 months now.
No problems so far.

Just doesn't come with any games :-(

Seems like it gets pretty good reviews

Well, I scraped the verizon service all together. There service in my remote area is absolutly horrible (extended network), couldn't send/receive text messages. The wireless web also didn't work as I was in the extended network (yet I was paying for it).

Ended up getting a Nextel i730 and I absolutly love it. Everything works, text messaging, mobile web, instant messaging, and so forth. I also love that walkie talkie feature :D I think the nextel service ended up costing a tad more in the end, but I think it'll be worth it.

Just thought I would throw an update on :)


Update: Anyone use nextel and have that unlimited direct connect? I need someone to help me test mine to make sure it works, lol (i dont really know anyone with nextel service). Send me a pm with your direct connect # if you would like.
