I know there is tons of useful information on this site. And it would be really awesome if WHT made a book about everything on here. what do you guys think?

There would be so much to sort through. And how would you choose what to include?

A forum is better than a book, for this kind of information anyway.

The moment the book was written it would be out of date anyway.

They should just do away with this silly world wide web thing, and just put everything in books. See, if all of out information only came from books, things wouldn't change so fast... we'd have to wait through the whole publishing cycle before we would learn something new. So then, books wouldn't be out of date so quickly!

Yep smdawg, I think you're onto something!

Just ask wht for the archives and print it [unedited should be more fun reading than just the information/tutorial part LOL]

Seriously, there have been books published on a lot of what's talked about here, including some on running a webhosting company. To an extent, though, they do suffer from what some of these commented on: information can get outdated very quickly. Beyond that, WHT in total covers too broad a variety of subject matter for it to be practical to cover all of the topics in a book.

Or, to go in another direction: go ahead and write it; I'm sure we'd all buy it!

books are static, forums are dynamic
in otherwords one is dead already and the other is still living
