Hi everyone, I'm new to this great community :)

I'm currently developing a new website, not in English.
I'm looking for a good Virtual package deal.

Since I'm new to this forum, I don't know which hosts are considered good and which are not.

For example, I didn't know "*****" was terrible, till I made a search on it and saw the negative posts about it.

I'm looking for host with:

Good speed.
Very good uptime.
Control Panel, CPanel is my favorite.
Kind of hosts I won't need any support, cause there won't be any problems ;)
Good support, just in case... :D
Linux server, of course.

Well, I think I have enough money for something good.
I can afford maximum 30$ per month, but that don't mean I have to spend it all, I don't need to, I think, for my site requirements.

Thanks! (I hope this is right forum for it, if not, sorry then :))

There not really an answer to your question. There are "good" hosts and there are "bad" hosts. Of the "good" hosts, some may stand out over the others in some departments, but that doesn't mean they are the "best".

It all comes down to your own preference i.e. what features you are looking for.

All we can do here is point you in the direction of good hosts, but the decision of which is "best" is ultimately yours.

Even "bad" hosts can be the "best" for you if they meet your expectations.

Good luck in your search for a host :D

Well if you have narrowed down your selection to just a few hosts you can search these forums and see what you can find on them.

I suggest VenturesOnline, as I have been using them and have not run into any problems thus far. I am using their reseller plan, but their virtual plans are just as nice.

Well, I came here from vBulletin.com forum, which in their "vBulletin Hosting Options" forum they had thread of users hosts experience.

From this thread I learned a lot, cause lots of users recommand some servers (like VenturesOnline or HostRocket), and the popular servers had lots of happy custommers.

I just want to know if there are any more "recommanded" server like those.. :)

Locutus is right.

There are "good" hosts and there are "bad" hosts. You can expect even a good host to have a bad day. I think you should try searching the forum for terms such as "good "/"reliable hosts".

If you are not sure which host to go with after you've narrowed it down. Then, try emailing each host with a few questions to test their support times/friendless and heck you could even ping their servers. ;) PLUS, you could even post a poll on the board so others could give you feedback on which is the best choice.

Remember "you get what you pay for".

It depends a lot on what your needs are. If you're on an extremely tight budget for example, Tera Byte have some great plans with lots of bandwidth and (for the price anyway) very good support.

Other hosts such as Ventures Online tend to give very little bandwidth and disk space for what they charge, but have some of the best support in the industry. Then again there are hosts such as webhosting.com or *****, which just plain suck.

The bottom line is that you aren't just paying for actual disk space, but also for support and uptime.

Good luck with finding a host. :)

i've used the following hosts:
cwihosting.com - bad, stay away...
valueweb.com - excellent (although no ssh), a bit expensive though. support was amazing
wizardshosting.com - excellent (although i found them sometimes to be a bit slow), very cheap though...

and am currently using:
dsvr.co.uk - excellent & extremely flexible, expensive
sexy-hosting.com - so far so good (only been with them for 2 weeks)

if i had to choose and budget was not a problem i'd go for dsvr.co.uk
