Im thinking of getting a Cobalt with Rackshack, my only concern is that they will make the server live and not have all the latest security patches applied, and it will get hacked right away. I know I had a Raq3i at Qwest that I colocated there, and one of my staff forgot to the update the BIND security, It got compramised within a few hours.

Has anyone had any experience with this, do they have all the updates install ?

I think they use the most recent release iso from cobalt, it has *some* security updates but not all. I think there are people that are constantly people scanning their address space for new setups. I set one up with cobaltrack and someone "moved in" before I even had a chance to, and this was a matter of minutes. So I would definitely recommened that you check the system against patches within minutes of receiving your e-mail. I would never leave it up to them, after all it is your server now. :)
