Hello,

I'm using IIS 5.0. SMTP mail stays in the queue folder and isn't delivered. Sometimes, we get an error message about a DNS error.

I saw someone else who had this problem, but it was from a while back and no one answered the question properly.

I had this previously also, then I found a lot are send from computer name to localhost, obviously a loop, I cleared those and the queue disappear.

Hi delete those emails causing the loop, if cant delete ,just go to IIS stop the SMTP 1st. Then delete the queue emails. Once done start the IIS again. This should solve.

Yes, I think we resolved the problem now.. checked the mail log again and noticed it circling... THANKS!!
