d. Higher!
Running 1152x864 on a 17" monitor. It might be a little too small for people running 1024x768 or less on a 17", but you'll get used to it after a couple of days and then you'll notice how good it is to run a higher resolution, you have so much more work space.

on a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 920 19 inch CRT I'm using 1024 X 768 & on a 16 inch active-matrix LCD I'm using 1280 X 1024. The CRT is on it's way out the door to be replaced with a 22 inch Apple cinema display running 1600 X 1024

Yeah, I use a similar setup when I'm designing websites. Makes it a lot easier to check your work on several browsers without having to change windows all the time :D

I use 800*600 resolution on my 15" monitor. As good as it gets...

I always found that my fave is 1024 x 768 it makes it easy to see everything and I don't get the ugly feeling I get with something smaller, plus I feel that images look sharper on a higher resolution.

just my 2 cents
