I'm about to open a forum, but I'm not sure what I should make it about. Does anyone have any ideas? Anybody got any good unique ideas?

This is an absurd question :) Well, definitely something that you know/very interested about ... Otherwise, people can just give you any idea ... for example how about a forum about Bose Einstein Condensate of Fermi Degenerate Gas? (no idea right? well, you got my point :D )

Make it something you like to talk about and perhaps your friends to. Then you can be moderator and the number of friends can grow.... just like WHT ;)

I think the Web is already saturated with forums devoted to that topic. :D

You can make the forum discusing "Does size really matter?" :D

I call mine "Anything Goes" and it's by far the most popular forum compared to others like "Business, Politics, and all those boring forums...."

I had this idea for a long, long time, but I never had the time to do this.

Are you familiar with TI?

Check out these sites, ticalc.org, calc.org, ti-fr.org, tinews.net see they are all TI sites made for TI-Developers and such other stuff, something they do not have yet is a forum, like TI-TALK.COM :)

I believe this can get really big, well big enough that you can be able to get over a million hits a week just like ticalc.org.

Just an idea, you can take it from me, but ohh well.

Sites with Pretty young Cam Girls have tons of people visit their message board, just because. Its a bit strange.

Nice idea... however, I'm not familiar with TI's. Do you know alot about them and if yes, how about we make a forum about it together? You can moderate it and I will try to be part of the board as well. How would we get alot of hits and members to the board though? I already have a place (paid lunarpages account) where we could set the board up. Let me know what ya think.:)

I am very familiar with TI and I work with tinews.net and I could easily put a link on the side to our forums and we can get started from there.

I would be happy to moderate it, only if later on I can put like a small banner in the forum, because I do believe this can become well lets say ticalc.org gets over 50,000 hits a day or more just for discussion and more, a vBulletin forum can be great and generating lots of hits, there will be no use for tinews.net or even ticalc.org or calc.org and all of the calc sites....trust me this can be great....

I can host the website myself for free...thinking about it carefully I might start it, but too much stuff here going with my NOC building maybe I can't, arghhh I can' t make up my mind, because I can use this as a sales advantage getting customers from it, hmm to hard to resist.

Well if you ever need some XXX calculator games, I have them from high school/junior high :-D .

I'm not sure if its been done before, but maybe make a forum with Boys VS Girls. They can ask each other questions, rant on eachother ect.

how about a forum that lists all other forums.

i.e. have categories > let users list there forums > let users talk about those forums > etc.

Thanx for those people who are interested in being moderators or leaders in the TI forum that I'm planning on starting.

I'm still setting the message board up. I will let you know when it's ready. If anyone else has any experience in TI, please send me a private message.
