Hey,

I recently started with a reseller webhosting firm and I am faceing my first problem.

They recently changed the IP's of de mayor domains

into...
NS1.TERRAQUEEN.COM 66.98.194.125
NS2.TERRAQUEEN.COM 66.98.194.126

and my IP domain to...
ns1.rubberduck.be 67.18.82.115
ns2.rubberduck.be 67.18.82.116

where I bought my names the ns are registrated as

ns1.rubberduck.be
ns2.rubberduck.be
NS1.TERRAQUEEN.COM
NS2.TERRAQUEEN.COM

and now me and my clients can't get no mail anymore...

I pinged my IP numbers but I don't know that they are right..

Is their any program or website (like http://www.dnsstuff.com/ but more sofisticated) where I can check my mailservers and their connection?

One of the domains to check is www.trim.be and
mail.trim.be (mail)

I noticed WHM got's a unit to check it but it doesn't give me enough information.

Thnx,

Yves

Hello,

here is what my WHM Mail Trouble Shooter shows:

your MX record is pointing to 66.98.194.57 with MX=0 Preference,
Your website is also pointing to that IP address, on the other hand you have:

rubberduck.be IN MX preference: 0 exchange: rubberduck.be

while you have:
rubberduck.be IN A 67.18.82.114

thus, if your IP address is 66.98.194.57 you should change your A record to it so it resolves fine with the MX.

Hope this helps!

I still have no respons in Belgium,

could it just be the record that not updates jet?

sultanhost (hosting firm) told me that it would work within 24h...

Or do I really have to change MX records?

THNX very much,

Yves

you didn't answer my question! what is your server's IP (web + Email) 67.18.82.114 or 66.98.194.57??

DNS updates take from 24 to 48 Hours,
