I dont think 100%, but some programs can go through the html, get the links, and find directorys like /images and that type of thing. Tho I maybe wrong here.

I doubt there is one, and even if you wanted to, it could be considered illegal. (correct me if i'm wrong)

Thanks but that only scans the showing files. Not the hidden ones. :(

If there are no links going to them, it's fairly impossible to find them without hacking the site or randomy guessing filenames.

Yes I think it could prove very interesting and informative being able to veiw hidden files photos etc. Whats needed is something like xtgold but instead of logging your drive its able to log the server.

Even if such a program existed, it's not ethical to use. Although if there is sensitive information, it will most likely be protected.

The only reason I could see a use for that would be to find where full software downloads, password files, etc. are being stored on a server.

But who really knows what you're looking to use it for... all I can do is speculate :D

The reason I was to use such program is because I own a website with a fellow college student. We would like to keep an up tp date version of the website without the hassle of sending it to each other when it is convinent for our time schedule.

That being the case all you need it an FTP program to see all the directories and hidden files of the entire site.

Come on you can come up with a better story than that surely.

If you own a site the you can ftp to the site anytime you want. Now if I could ftp to my mate Bill Gate's site then I wouldn't need any other program. :D

Not only do I find that comment ignorant I find it very shallow minded

What makes you think I want to 'haxx0r' a website? I clearly stated what I wanted it for, accept it.

Actually he/she doesn't even need an ftp program you can use Internet explorer and or most webhosts provide a file manager these days anyway. Of course if it's his mates site and he/she hasn't got the password well that's another story all together.

Yes I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps if some kind community-leader could close or even remove this thread we would be eternally grateful.

IMO you dont deserve a site in StayHosted.Com. You deserve a "Geoshities Look-a-like" because you have to learn from bottom up not top down. That is just the fundamentals of human intelligence and skills [which is essential to even ask stupid questions]. Dont take offence in what we are telling you. Just learn first and it will help in the long run.

And for your kind information your StayHosted.Com is offering Cpanel from which you can see all your folders and its contents. Wakarumasika ? [That means "Got it ?" in Japanese....I dont know what other language you understand]
