I also use all 4 with this one: trillian.cc
I used to use all 4 on this one: www.imici.com

Can anyone tell me why messages sometimes don't go through on Trillian or what to do to make sure they go through?

ICQ is my favorite, it just needs to be configured correctly after you install it. I also use AIM because of its voice chat (and only the voice chat).

I have the new ICQ and it sucks. I get tons of ads like if I was a customer of AOL.

Is there a place where I can get an old version of ICQ?

I can't stand them ads on ICQ either :puke:

gAIM here too... Quite stable and I like that you can sign on more than one account at a time, comes in handy.

When using AIM...how do you do that stupid thing again where you type in this one word like "genius" or whatever and you can ask it anything and it tells you the answer?

ICQ, AIM and MSN.

I like more ICQ cause if you have lot's of contacts its easy to handle them than with MSN or AIM .. at least for me.

Well I use ICQ and AIM. Although I like AIM simply interface I don't like the fact that you can't change the username on them to tell who the hell everybody is :)

Guess nobody knows what i`m talking about. Someone earlier said when you use AIM you can instant message something named "genius" or whatever and you can ask it anything and it knows all the answers?

I like trillian the best, you get all in 1 icq / aim and msn.

at least you get all the clients messaging you :)

I think the big thing here is that there are a lot of better systems than AIM and/or ICQ however we use these the most because they are the most widely used. Kind of a loop hole isn't it :stickout
