Ok, I'm the admin over at Triedia.com, and I run a health/fitness site, and in atleast 15 days of the launch of our site, we got so many visitors/hits, we hit the 15-16gb mark, and the costs for the server are flying through the roof, does anyone know how I can bring some sort of income out of the site to get enough to pay for the bandwidth? I need help. :(

Ads?
They're ugly, but it should cover your costs.

some hosts get you attracted by offer cheap monthly hosting. But then they have incredible charges on bandwith overusage. I hope you are not in this position. One possible solution is to find a good host that offer a low/affordable bandwith overage charges for say ... 40-50GB a month (I think your traffic may well go over that) or whatever you project your bandwith will be in the near future ...
And of course, you may also try to work out a deal with your host (or any other hosts if you decide to move) for discounted hosting in exchange for advertising ...
cheers,

Well, the host is providing me with 50gb for $80/month. Space isn't a issue.

Hi,
Well nice to have success with your site. I browsed it and saw that several links were not correct, they brought up error pages.
It seems that your forum gets the most hits and you do have some advertising.
If you are interested, contact me directly. Perhaps we can sponsor your site.

Ya, the site isn't completely finished yet, but our forum hit 1000 members in 15 days of operation, from the start of our site. At the moment I'm trying to finish the our links, but it's alot of work to get all the information going..
Not really a way to increase your income, but to decrease your expenses. Check if mod_gzip is installed. This can dramatically lower your bandwidth usage.
