Appearantly, spammers use my clients email
address in the From: field to send emails.

Consequently, when the emails are bounced,
they go to my client's mailbox.

Hence the mailbox is getting bigger and
bigger. Furthermore, my server's bandwidth is
wasted.

So, how to solve this problem?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I've had stuff like that happen. Back in 1999 except I was the client. The guy said he was going to sue me if I didn't stop spamming him and I kept telling him it wasn't me.

Mostly the spammer would have spoofed the IP from where he is spamming.
However, try seeing the header of the mail.
Also, see the mail that is being sent. That may give a lead to the site from where spamming is being done.
Have a great day :)
