Hello,

I have a site that provides free polls for webmasters. I've been receiving lots of requests to allow users to pay for ad-free polls. I've changed my poll script to make this possible, but now I need to find an online credit card processsor company. Can anyone suggest a credit card processsor company for my service?

A few things that might be important:
- I plan to charge around $13.00 for 3 months, so the cc processor company must NOT take a big chunk of this,
- Although I've had many requests, I don't know if many will actually pay for the ad-free service,
- Users should be able to pay without too many hassle (not like PayPal),
- I live in the Netherlands, but the site is for every one!

Please advice.

I suggest using Revcom if your looking for a low fee. 3.5% of something like that. Do a search and you'll find hundreds of posts about this.

Have a look at:

http://www.2checkout.com and http://www.revecom.com

These two seem to be the most popular, and are quite highly acclaimed...

I remember reading somewhere that Revecom charges a $1.00 transaction fee AND and $1.00 processing fee. Plus the 4% commission.

We use 2checkout and we couldn't be happier. Their transaction fee is $0.45 plus 5.5% commission.

2checkout.com would be my advise too, I studied them all and settled on them. It was a toss up between revecom and 2checkout, and I took a chance and went with the better price, and I have been very happy so far.

You guys are lucky coz you stay in the US.

If you live outwith, 2checkout is not a cost effective solution and Revecom would be better as they can issue cheques in foreign currencies whereas 2checkout only in $US :(

Thats the only thing stopping me from signing up at this moment.

2checkout can wire the money directly to your account, whether it is personal or business :D

what do you think of www.paypal.com?

they seem to be pretty cheap.

PayPal is ok as a secondary solution, but it is considered quite unprofessional to use it as the main cc processor. It requires people to have an account with PayPal which can be an inconvenience.

And it comes in handy, too :)
