I have acquired 8 more RackShack's servers. They are available for ordering:
1 GHz CPU/512 MB RAM/20 GB hard disk - $150/mo. without setup fees
200 domains Plesk license is included. Upgrade to unlimited domains is $295.
300 GB/mo. transfer is inlcuded. Additional traffic is $1.5/GB.
First 8 IPs are free. Additional IPs and other upgrades as per RackShack's prices: rackshack.net/services/index.asp
You can test ping and download speed of one of the servers here: customer.saburovo.com/uumap.tar.Z
I am acting as RackShack's reseller. I have (currently) 17 servers with RackShack. I am also RackShack affiliate with (currently) 78 RackShack servers sold.
Support issues have to be raised to me. I, when appropriate, raise them to RackShack. You are my customer, I am RackShack's customer.
Please be aware this may create some additional delay when there is a problem I can't deal with without RackShack involvment (like manual reboot). In most cases I am able to help without talking to RackShack's techs. Talk to my current (virtual) hosting users regarding support I provide to them: 99servers.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?forumid=8
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, and I shall answer them here according to the forum rules by editing this post.Originally posted by krazzyray
sounds like they are probably hostile to adult content. RackShack changed the AUP recently. There is no restriction for adult sites anymore, it has to be legal of course: www.rackshack.net/aboutus/aup.asp
I am not RackShack though, so you may want to confirm with them directly.Originally posted by big_smooth
will you offer a special with that server?
"The Best Value"
- 512 MB RAM,
- 2x 20 GB HDNo, I do not plan to re-sell those RaQs at the moment. I can do one RaQ with 256 MB RAM/20 GB HD for $140/mo. with no setup fee, but only one. It is upgradeable to 512 MB of RAM for standard RackShack's fee: www.rackshack.net/services/index.asp

linux, plesk trouble shooting ?
who will fix the problems ?As I stated above, initially all support questions have to be raised to me. If there is an issue I can't deal with (manual reboot required, for example), I raise the issue to RackShack. So far it worked perfectly.
Dealing with a small reseller like me has its advantages. Sometimes I can act faster than RackShack - that's why my customers can already upgrade to unlimited Plesk for $295, and RackShack did not publish any information about the upgrade yet (actually if you are direct RackShack's customer you are welcome to use my form as well: 99servers.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=138).Originally posted by Dom
I would jump on that offer if the uptime was even close to resonable Being with RackShack since March I did not notice any problems with RackShack's servers uptime. They are moving Cobalt RaQ servers to the new facility, which may affect their uptime, but all Plesk Linux servers are already in new facility and should have no periods of downtime.Originally posted by krazzyray
ready to sign up if offer still available5 more servers are still available.
