i'm hosting with a popular host to this forum...they have been busy expanding their business, hiring new people and all that stuff but it's not quite 11pm ET and we're having a problem and have been for several hours and they don't even want to answer our posts on their forums board.
i didn't know where to vent so i came here where i figured i'd get the most latitude.
last week it was a spam block problem that I had to handle myself because they have been too busy buying up other hosting companies.
ergh!!! ticks me off...i cannot stand being ignored when i'm paying for something.
it's like going to a restaurant, being served cold food and the flippin' waitstaff avoids your table like the plague because they know you're angry.

Do they have a phone number? expanding is a great thing (for companies and clients). But the company should still try its best to offer their service to the best of their ability. Sorry to hear your problem, I hope it gets fixed soon.

they do have a number but the bottom line is that i shouldn't have to run up my long distance/cell bill just because these guys are avoiding the problem.

Just because they are "popular" on WHT doesn't mean they should be anonymous when problems arise.

well i'm trying to be a nice guy while at the same time venting...one of their techs just posted that they had to reinstall something and it looks like it hosed some sites...to include mine...
the thing i have a problem with is that they do these updates/upgrades/fixes and half the time it screws something up...then we, the subscribers, start screaming that something's wrong and these guys will literally take hours before they ever acknowledge an email or a post.

It is good of you for not disclosing the host.
