Been waiting forever and it finally is here. Bought it on Monday and it came Tuesday at 10:30AM, put it together placed everything. I'm waiting for the keyboard tray to come via Fedex. The desk came top $620+, well worth every penny.

I'm a big fan of the massive glass desks - they look so nice :)

Yours must be great quality to cost that much, no painted MDF ;)

Nice setup. I especially like the sound system you've got going. :D

My desk is about 2/3 the size of the one you have right, and it's too small..... computer with nice 17" LCD (:D) on one side, huge printer, scanner, photocopier on the other side.

How much? I'm thinking of getting dual 19" LCD monitors and have one of them on a switch for my other computer. I was also thinking of getting a wireless keyboard/mouse combo (DiNovo?) but I already bought a keyboard tray that was $60 (Eek!) and the only use I need for a wireless keyboard is if I was to keep the mouse and keyboard on top.

Someone has lots of money to spare! :D

Also, beautiful desk... you should see mine.

Another thing I should point out... you're too neat man! My desk layout would make you puke.

It won't be neat for long. It's only neat because I just put it together yesterday. I had a whole bed full of junk that I went through, it was quite messy before. Hopefully it will be better this time because I have more room. My old desks were just too small that there was no room for anything.

One good thing is now my cat can lay by my feet, before my desk was too small and I kept kicking her, but she kept laying there. I put her cat house next to the book case and she sleeps there.

What's your desk like?

You don't even want to know what my desk is like, let alone see it. But perhaps if I find the time, I'll pull out my dad's digital camera and take a pic. :P

More room only leads to a bigger mess. ;)

To drink?

When I took that old picture months ago I used half liter water bottles. It was too much of a hassle to refill and I switched to 2.5 gallon water jugs to fill into my 1 litter bottle. I drink a lot of water and my purifier takes awhile to refill so I buy the 2.5 gallon water jugs from the store and keep them up here with me.

Two or three. I will have my main 19" monitor and for my second PC my 17" monitor. Hopefully if I get enough cash I'll buy dual 19" LCD monitors and put a KVM switch on the second monitor so I can use one LCD screen for my linux machine and one on my windows machine, or both on the windows machine.

Just gave my client 3 invoices for work done.

So I guess it is my turn to buy a desk !

I am looking for a U shaped one. Space enough for a Mac, a desktop, a notebook and then some !

With all that equipment you will need a lazyboy chair to relax :D

I have a leather executive chair with a high back and padded arm rests. Works for me, although the pad on the bottom is wearing down since I've had it for a few years.

Veny nice desk, but one problem you have to worry about. It is not healthy to put monitor higher that your head. You eyes and your neck will heart often when you look up all the time.

Since I bought a keyboard tray It's not needed to get wireless. Just a thought, but not needed. (Yet) The keyboard tray was $60 which is half the cost of the DiNovo.

5054D - Only problem is the heat goes up to 350f inside if there is a fire, which would melt plastic and destroy electrical devices, I wish now I bought one that was deeper (I keep a folder in there with documents and I have to set the folder vertical which doesn't allow me to use the shelf) and their upgraded media safe that keeps temps below 150f. Still a nice safe, nothing will happen but it is nice to know it's there.
