I'd suggest using the search feature on the forum. Just type in 'merchant account' and you will get a great deal of information.

If you charge prices like over $20 a month then Revcome
If you charge prices like under $20 a month then 2checkout.com

Does name recognition matter... meaning do you desire to have your company name or a short form of it to appear on client's card statements?

What country are you located in?

And do you want to charge the credit cards yourself, or have a 3rd part billing program do that, so that you never even seen the CC #'s?

You might want to check this provider directory out too

I don't think the goal here is to loose money, only to make it ;)

IMHO go with a merchant service that bundles AuthorizeNet. They give you the greatest amount of control. I know someone great who can set you up if you are interested.

Hello.

Bravo, can you shed more light on that

Also, what is the minimum amount that 2checkout transfers to bank accounts by the 1st of 16th? Or any amount in our account, even if it's small, gets transferred?

Thanks.

Winnie,

I believe 2checkout transfers the total amount twice a month, so long as it is below your reserve ($1500 I believe). If you make more than that per "pay period" they will hold it back in reserve. That's one of the reasons I closed my account with them (plus, once you reach that level, you're far better off getting a real merchant account anyway).

My new account should be working by the weekend; and after that I will be able to start offering merchant accounts myself! :)
