Alright, MySql stopped working, and in desperation the following commands were typed:
chown mysql.mysql -R /
chown admin.admin -R /
chown root.root-R /

Now we cannot su to root, postgresql will not start. All cgi scripts won't work, and ownership on everything is weird.

Any ideas?

Just to let you know, the default way the Cobalt likes mysql owned is mysql.root

MySQL 'stopped working'. What sort of errors were you getting? What happened when you typed /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql start

What error do you get when you try to su to root? You should download chrootkit and see if you've been rooted. Have you checked you logs etc...? MySQL log might give you some insight.
