I manage two sites (www.specialoperations.com and www.socnetcentral.com/vb)
I need to get them on a new dedicated server within the week.
SpecialOperations.com - is an informational site that contains thousands of informational pages and attributing images. It's storage & transfer numbers are:
disk space: 1.1 Gigs
last month trans: 129,504.168
this month trans: 96,767.326
SocnetCentral.com - is an associated site with SOC, but is where our vBulletin forum is located. It is rather active and its storage & transfer numbers are as follows:
disk space: 1.8 Gigs
last month trans: 111,424.024
this month trans: 82,502.202
I need a single dedicated server solution that can ADEQUATELY and COMFORTABLY (meaning it is able to handle any sudden influx in those numbers above) handle both of those sites. Being that SOCNET is a vBulletin, the server memory resources need to be rather high as this is a big issue right now. It also needs to be easily managed via some sort of control panel for basic functions (add/removing e-mails, databases and looking at statistics... nothing too complex).
These sites are very important as they are the most popular & reputable of their type, therefore the server & provider must be extremely reliable with an established track-record and US based.
Suggestions and offers please?
