Well, I am in love with below10host. I mean, they are amazing! there support is "WOW" and there machines are fast. I have no words to explain there uptime, BUT I need PHP4, so I need a new host. Any suggestions? HostRocket has been having there problems lately. I am looking for something 10$, dun have much money :P. All I need is
- MySQL
- PHP4
- FTP
- 20mb Space
- whatever Bandwidth
- 1 IP

HostRocket are upgrading to PHP4 this week apparently. Also, if I heard correctly elsewhere, they are offering hosting on VDI servers soon (PHP4 and Zend as default) so that might be interesting.

As for their downtime, it was pretty bad, but they claim its under control now. I am willing to excuse this on occasion for the great rates, and I also ask, what is there to lose in $9.95 a month for one of their accounts?

Anyway, on another note, completely different, you might like to try freedom2surf. Its new servers offer PHP4 and MySQL, 20Mb space and FTP access. The best part is, they are free and dont put banners up. However, im not sure they give you an IP and they charge a few pounds for domains.

They are UK based but seem pretty fast (www.f2s.com). Might be useful for playing around with PHP4 before buying. I know that whats I do :)

I thought below10host do provide plans with MySQL and PHP4 on their servers @ VDI:

I dunt wanna go with a free host. I cannot and dun wanna take any chances with hostrocket and there downtime. Are there any other options? Dynasty is on the top of my list, but are there any other cheaper alternatives?

Ask below10host to delete your current account, and then sign up for the account on VDI server :)

That's actually quite true Kunal. It was amiss of me to forget suggesting (yesterday in our ICQ convo) you ask Below10 to move you to one of the new servers.... Ah well. Shows you how much attention I was paying.... :rolleyes:
