well duh I'm not so thick that I don't know a great resource when I see one. What I am is 'new' so I'd like to find something that will explain in a few paragraphs or pages the whole general process - the big picture. Then perhaps I'll be in a position to understand more of what I read in here. Thanks

Well, basically you get an account like a shared account but you can resell that account in the sense that you are allowed to create other accounts for other people...

Try finding a host, hook them up on live chat and ask them to explain :)

Read through the forums. There's plenty of information around. I would also recommend that you read up on some basic information in regards to running a small business in general. You will industry knowledge as well as business skills to be successful.

i think thewhir.com is the best place to look, but try searching for "reseller hosting" in google, i just did and it came up with lots of information at different hosting websites.
