Hi,

I was wondering about something...I think I already know the answer to this, but I'll just ask you experts to make sure.

If I had 3 servers. 1 with Verio and 2 with Rackshack.
I'd like to host my clients on these servers.

Is it possible to do load balancing with servers on different networks?

Specifically...
If I had my DNS, FTP, MySQL, and Mail server on the Verio. If I was running CPanel & WHM, is it possible to do the following.

Limit only 200 accounts each on the Rackshack, when it reaches to 400 accounts, then it automatically creates the account on the verio server with me telling it to create it on Verio.

Do you understand, what I'm trying to say?
I don't have the servers...This just a hypothetical situation...I'm trying learn up on these matters...Trying to educate myself...

Also, I've read about having FTP, Mail and MySQL on one central server for all my accounts.

There, I've also read about having them on each server for accounts on that particular server.
What are the pro & cons of either method?

I'd rather call this clustering.
It is possible to do what you have mentioned.
In load balacing the load is shared for the same host by a mirrored server.

Can you explain on how to setup such a cluster? I am very interested in this type of setup.

You'd either have to develop a program for it. WHM, alabanza etc.. have this feature inbuilt.
