Hey :cool:

I've got a question regarding the dedicated windows servers at managed.com

Will I get Remote Desktop access to my dedicated server?

Yes they do, but only just recently.

Back on topic, dunno you’d have to ask. Also only web edition.

How come it has the Windows 2003 Operating System as an option then?

Well I am guessing they do, as I cant see what else they would use and if they use VNC or similar instead Im sure you could always enable it yourself. I ordered one on Friday so Ill let you know what you get when its up.

Hi i also want to know if you can remote it with terminal service or something else because thats really important i mailed managed.com but still no answer. Do you allready got your box now?

My windows one has been setup now and as expected I do have remote desktop access.

with remote desktop access you can install anything like apache or IIS etc..?

you know never tried administrating windows remotely never thought it was possible :D

My managed.com came with IIS already installed and running.

Yep, Internet Information Services (IIS) is Microsoft's proprietary web server.
