I am trying to transfer a domain from StarGateInc. to GoDaddy... I tried to transfer the domain since last Friday, and its almost been a whole week, and nothing has happened. When I do a whois on the domain it does show GoDaddy, but when I check Pending Transfers, it still shows that's its trying to contact the current registrar for approval. How long does it usually take to transfer a domain?

usually from 12 hours up to one week ( for .com . net )

i have had it take as quick as 12 hours and as long as 72 hours.

it depends! some registrar says from one week to 15 Days, but usually 48 Hours

exactly its 12hrs - 1 week or so

Okay thanks :). I see its just been transferred, so it took about a week.

I transfered from NameCheap to Directi: about a week

I have had a couple recently and both took about 4 days.
