I have been asked to set up some discussion boards on some sites we manage.

Most need to be in English and one in the Hungarian language.

Can anyone recommend an easy-to-set up, easy-to-manage, GOOD LOOKING discussion board SW (or service which a web site can link to) ?

Thank you

Hector

YaBB is by far the easiest good looking one to setup. No mySQL involved and has all the same features as the others.

but unless you have got a damn fine server it will be very slow. Look at YaBB's support forums for example. Plus all (good) flat file based forums are being replaced with SQL based ones...
UBB -> UBBThreads
YaBB
IkonBoard

Why? Because many hosts are banning flat file forums for using to many resources...

I use Ikonboard (http://www.ikonboard.com) , super stable and well supported. Several options for non-db or db driven boards.

Highly suggest it.....AND it's free!
