Transfer overage is $1.5 per GB. If you need larger or smaller disk or transfer quotas, contact us ASAP. We are 100% sure we can always work out something.

These are not shared hosting accounts but real virtual servers with the complete linux 6.2 file system structure and full administrative access. You can set your own apache and other servers' configuration. This is an unmanaged solution, so the server maintenance is completely your responsibility. We can also assist you with any questions you have including configuration, reboots and such.

We have had 100% uptime in the past several months. An IP you can try to see how the network responds: 216.114.78.155

Your virtual server will be on a fully burstable 100 Mbps LAN. Its connected to the Internet through two OC-48s, one with Qwest and one with Savvis. The NOC has redundant UPS power systems and is powered from two separate power grids. It also has redundant air conditioning systems and dry fire extinguishing systems.

Order yours now!!!

Does the disk space for each account include the space used by all the servers, i.e. apache, ftp, mysql? Thanks,

Only the space occupied by the configuration files and other data that is served by the servers you mentioned counts towards the quota.

The actual server binary and most of the standard unix tools do not count towards the quota.

If we have "full administrative priviliges" on our virtual account, how can you only allow 100 POP boxes and 10 virtual domains? Since we would have "root" access, run our own POP servers, isn't an unlimited number of anything possible (within the limit of disk quota, of course)?

The number of accounts are limited as per our plans. You can get upto 1000 accounts with the largest plan. In this world everything is limited including the number of accounts. :)

Linux has a limitation as the UID is a 16 bit number so a maximum number of 65535 UIDs can exist.

These UIDs are shared among all the virtual servers on a physical server. If you need a larger number of accounts, let us know and we will try to fulfill your request.

If you purchase one of the dedicated servers you can make use of all the available UIDs. But that is a different thing, and the price is, certainly different.
