I'm having problems doing that from my work computer.

What happens is I check my home mail from work and follow the link from the email notification. Then if I decide to reply to a post I get this error:
vBulletin Message
No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster

What could be the problem?

22 Views and nobody know what is wrong?

JayC is correct, please email us instead of posting to the forum, as it isn't of much interest to anyone else. Can you forward a couple of the emails to us and I'll take a look and see if I can figure out what the problem is. We have a couple of errors lately that seem odd.

Just a guess here but are you signed in from work (ie have your username/pass cookied there)? I seem to remember something like this happening to me one day...
