are you by any chance the same as another company whose name is censored, something along the lines of cyrixshop but changing shop from british to american word?

Unlimited Hits means that you are not limited an amount of traffic at once on your site up until your bandwidth limit.

So, whether you have a 1 or 10GB Transfer limit, you can have unlimited hits until you reach your Transfer limit.

Most Web Hosts offer Unlimited Hits unless otherwise stated. We just decided to add that onto the features because many people were asking about it.

My companies actual name is Cyrix but my hosting name is CyrixWeb. It's more of our branding. Anyway, we are not affiliated in anyway with "cyrixshop." Our current names that are with our company are: CyrixWeb, Cyrix, and Cyrix Mall.

Cyrix Mall used to be a Virtual Mall that sold mostly anything you could think of. However, we discontinued our mall quite a few months ago. We do plan on re-opening our center in the near future as many of our previous customers requested.

The Virtual Mall that we had was for U.S. citizens only. We could not deliver items purchased outside of the U.S.

If we decide to launch our mall again, it will not only be permanent but should also accept international orders.

1GB usually costs $5 unless you buy in very large amounts but you still end up paying over $1 for each at least.

Our Hosting plans were not always very cheap. Our cheapest plan used to be $9.95 a month. Now our cheapest plan is reduced down to $2.95. This is a big change for us and we are happy to offer it to our clients.

Now that we have developed a large client base, we are able to drastically lower our prices and create several new plans. Hence the reason we posted this in the forum. :)

We do by our Bandwidth at a wholesale price to accomodate our current clients as well as new. We don't make a profit on Transfer usage. We pay for what we use and what our clients use.

And you don't have to worry about the prices going up either. All plans are permanent unless we reduce our prices again in the future.

I was wondering if you could give me an idea of what your Reseller Plans are going to be like. I went to the website but it said that new plans were coming soon or something. Right now I'm looking at a lot of options from many different companies and I want to see as many as I can before I finally decide on one.

Do yourself a favour and avoid CyrixWeb like the plague - you really do get what you pay for. There are many tempting offers on the net that seem too good for the money, and CyrixWeb is one of them...wall to wall problems. I cursed the day I ever signed up with them - be very, very careful.

With virtual hosting, the team providing your hosting really need to have a good knowledge of the systems they are working with, and offer support to you at the highest level - because, lets face it - if something goes wrong, you can't fix it yourself. CyrixWeb fall short of this by miles. Just my opinion/experience of them obviously - but you have been warned.

I've been with CyrixWeb for a little over 2 years now and have been very happy with the service. They have great uptime and support is very responsive.

Every company has disappointed a few clients from time to time but trying to ruin a good company's reputation is just plain wrong. If you have a problem with them, you should really be contacting the company directly.
