My brother has a company that, among other things, promotes tradeshows/conventions. It got me thinking: is there a Web hosting convention/show that's aimed at the sort of folks who frequent WHT (small to mid-size hosts)?

If not, would you be interested in attending such an event provided it was priced within your budget?

I would love to attend if they had one in Toronto

It would be something if you could actually get all the webhosters away from their servers to come to this :D

I think the main problem would be getting there...especially as there are people on this forumall over the worls..

If you host one (and pay for my plane ticket ;) etc) I'll there ;)

We'd probably be talking about Orlando, FL USA and in the middle of the year. Attendance fee would include a theme attraction admission as well. Since it's a vacation destination folks can do a working vacation trip and write off the expenses.

That's so unfair only to hold it in one state. You need multiple states if it was going to work

There was a webhosting expo in Washington some time back...
I guess that went off quite well.
There were some real big names there (Microsoft, Hostopia.... )
