Im not sure what the best way to get round that is. Any advice gratefully received. :)

I also noticed this.

Windows: 30 Gb transfer for $42 is ultracheap

Linux: 10 Gb transfer for $49 is expensive

That's totally blew me apart? How so? The hardware costs the same (if not more expensive for windows since windows is more resource hog). Software is much more expensive under windows. Yet you can offer cheaper price on windows hosting? I am also planning to offer windows hosting, but to start it with one server (together with software) it will costs me about starting linux hosting with 2 or 3 servers.

cheers,

I thought people would ask. Basically without giving things away that i shouldn't it's to do with deals i have with the supplier of each server. The Win2k works out cheaper.

This is just a friendly reminder to people that anything like this has to go into the Advertising Forums.

Ok, could it be moved then please.

Personally i don't see why it should be moved because if i end up changing my plans and increase prices it wont look good. At least in here i can get good advice from other hosts.:)

I think this is on the level of acceptable, he is not trying to get customers by asking "Would you be interested in blah blah blah...?", he justs wants other hosts to give him feedback concerning his plans.

But its up to the mods to decide :)

Is a pricing plan a product or service?

Anyway, I'm with one_web, raise the prices on the windows plans. :)

I like Windows pricings.

Do you have MS Access on your Windows plans?
I went to your site, but couldn't find anything about MS Access database.

I don't make the rules. It just states that you can't do this. I cannot move this so you will have to wait for Chicken to come on. He usually appears around 5 - 6pm
